Terms of Service
1. What PrivateRoyale is
1.1PrivateRoyale is a private, invite-only, non-commercial game server run by fans for a small community.
1.2The original game's official service closed in 2024. PrivateRoyale is independent server software written for interoperability with that game, in the sense recognised by Directive 2009/24/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the legal protection of computer programs (the EU Software Directive).
1.3PrivateRoyale is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by the developer or publisher of the original game. Game names, artwork, and other assets remain the property of their respective owners, and PrivateRoyale claims no rights in them.
2. Access and accounts
2.1Access is by invitation only. An invite key is personal, single use, and may be revoked at any time. Sharing, selling, or guessing keys is not allowed.
2.2You must be at least 16 years old.
2.3One account per person. You are responsible for what is done with your account and for keeping your password private. Sharing or selling accounts is not allowed.
2.4Your email address is used only for account recovery and, if you turn it on, two-factor codes. We never send marketing and never pass it on.
3. Conduct
3.1Cheating: using or sharing cheats, modified software, macros, or any tool that gives an unfair advantage, and exploiting bugs instead of reporting them.
3.2Harassment and abuse: harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, sexual content, sharing someone's private information, and impersonating players or staff, whether in chat, in names, or anywhere else.
3.3The service: attacking, overloading, or interfering with the servers, the website, or other players' connections, and trying to bypass sanctions, limits, or the invite system.
3.4Sanctions apply to the person, not only the account. Evading one with another account is itself a violation. Decisions are recorded and appeals are handled on our Discord.
3.5False or abusive reports are a violation.
4. Your content and your data
4.1You are responsible for what you post, including names, chat, and profile content. We may remove any of it without notice.
4.2To run the service we keep your login name, email address, a hashed password, your IP address and login history for 30 days, match and profile statistics, and moderation records. This data is used only to operate, secure, and moderate the service and is never sold or shared. You can ask on Discord for your account to be deleted.
4.3Characters, levels, currencies, cosmetics, and other in-game items have no monetary value and may be changed, reset, or removed at any time.
5. No warranty
5.1The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, including availability, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
5.2We do not guarantee uptime or the preservation of accounts, characters, statistics, currencies, cosmetics, or any other data. Progress may be lost through outages, bugs, resets, migrations, moderation, or the closure of the service.
5.3To the extent permitted by law, PrivateRoyale and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including data loss, loss of progress, and the conduct of other players.
6. Termination
We may suspend or close any account, or the service itself, at any time, with or without notice. You may stop using the service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted.
7. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms at any time. The current version is always at this address with its date at the top, and material changes are announced on the login page and on Discord. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
8. General
8.1These terms are governed by the laws of Romania.
8.2If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
